About The Event
The 2017 EnGenius exhibition showcases design projects from RMIT's School of Engineering. EnGenius covers electrical, computer, telecommunications, electronic and biomedical engineering.
Over the year students design and develop a diverse range of projects and provides students with the opportunity to network with industry representatives.
A key feature of an engineering degree is the design or project work. This is where students can demonstrate their technical knowledge and skills to create real world technology and outcomes.
For students undertaking Design 4, the individual projects represent the culmination of their studies and EnGenius is an extra opportunity to display the result of some eight months of hard work.
For Design 3 students, EnGenius is an integral part of the year's activities where teams of approximately six students showcase their design prototypes. These prototypes have come a long way from the original vague ideas that each team presented in March. The teams have tasted both successes and failures along the journey to EnGenius.
Everyone is invited to come along and check out the student projects.
EnGenius is open to the general public from 2pm to 4pm.
Industry are welcome to attend the industry only morning session from 10am to 1pm or are welcome to attend all day.
