Getting Started

I would like to get in touch with an event organiser, how do I go about this?


Send us an email to events@freeee.com.au and let us know that you'd like to get in touch with an event organiser. We'll write back to you about the organiser's contact details and preferred method(s) of contact within 24 hours of your email.




Do I need to RSVP before I attend an event?


Some events will require an RSVP from you for planning purposes. If an event requires an RSVP, a secure link is displayed under the event details which directs you to the event organiser's online RSVP page.




I have a specific event or category in mind how do I search for it?


The current layout of the Freeee platform allows you to browse our various categories and find the events which excite you the most. You can view a complete selection of the available categories under our home page or click on 'All Events', in the top right hand corner of the home page.

What/Who is freeee?


The founding purpose of Freeee is to connect our visitors with exciting events and activities around Melbourne, allowing them to enjoy their time regardless of budget. The Freeee platform includes the website and mobile applications and is the centre for all freeee events around Melbourne. We are honoured by the contribution of event hosts to our platforms and acknowledge their contribution to the growth of Freeee. Please note that by using our platform, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service (refer to our Terms of Service page here) which sets our trading practices and policies.





After the fact

I have a complaint or would like to report inappropriate content . How can I best arrange to lodge my complaint/feedback?


At Freeee we take complaints seriously and strive to detect and filter out any inappropriate content on our platform which conflicts with our terms of service set out here. If you have a complaint to report regarding our platform or register a complaint about an event you've attended, please send us an email to events@freeee.com.au, and we will endeavour to respond to your report within 48 hours of your email.




I have an event that's not on the platform and would like to see it added. How?


We continuously seek to improve and grow your freeee platform and its content. If you have an event in mind that’s not on our platform, please send us an email to events@freeee.com.au detailing your event idea. We will endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours, after which we've reviewed your event idea and as long as it doesn't conflict with our Terms of Service (refer here), then it will be posted. If the event is of your own creation, we strongly recommend you consider setting up your event on our platform! Follow the link provided here to learn more about how it works.





Event Setup

I'd like to create an event and add it to the platform, how does it work?


Well, for starters, you’ve come to the right place. We have all-rounded and comprehensive tools to help you setup your event. Just follow the link provided here and, when you’re ready, lets the get the ball rolling.




Do I need to pay to have my event posted?


Certainly not. We post your event to our platform free of charge. Also free of charge, is the option to have your event posted to our trending social media pages to increase your event’s exposure. Please note, however, that that you will need to offer at least one free product or service as a condition of posting your event. Learn more of what’s expected of event hosts here.




I need help with logistical matters, such as ticket sales and event location options. Which plan packages would suit me the most?


Our paid plans start from just $49 and are inclusive of organising ticket sales and giving you location options to host your event. Please follow the link provided here and scroll down to the bottom of the page to view a list of our plan packages with their inclusions and lets get you started!




I’m interested in promoting my event through Freeee, what are my options and where do I get started?


At Freeee, we strongly believe in the emerging influence of social media in advertising. Our deep understanding of social media marketing techniques mean that you can take advantage of a uniquely personalised marketing service, with paid plans starting from an unbeatable $99. Our marketing packages will also see you having several of your own social media pages linked to your event. I’m interested in browsing event supplies through the Freeee platform. What products are available? Can Freeee assist me in selecting products relevant to my event?

How do I contact members that are registered to attend my event?


Once your event is registered with us, you'll be able to contact members that have RSVP'd to attend your event via email.




How long will it take to post my event on the platform?


Your event is posted within 24 hours after you provide us with all the required event details




I’ve noticed that my event information is wrong or needs updating, how can I get it fixed?


Send us an email to events@freeee.com.au, briefly instructing us on the update.




How do I cancel an event?


Send us an email to events@freeee.com.au, instructing us to cancel your event.




I would like to organise a private event. Can this be arranged?


We're certainly able to assist you with your private event setup! Please fill out the form link here where you can tell us more about your event. In return we'll get back to you with a freeee (of charge) quote, custom made for your event.
